Malik Shlibak is a Shia Muslim, researcher, public activist, and host of his YouTube channel.
He is most notably known for his role as the Executive Producer of The Lady of Heaven, a film that toured worldwide cinemas before exploding into the UK cinemas, sparking nationwide protests.
Malik is also the founder of The Rafida Foundation; a non-profit that produces educational material on theology, history, and ethics through videos, animations, books, articles, and translated material in over seven languages.
Malik is the creator of the ShiaBrain research and referencing tool, which aims to make Islamic literature—and literature about Islam—more accessible to non-Arabic-speaking audiences.
He has appeared on BBC Newsnight, BBC Scotland, Sky News, GB News, and LBC, discussing and debating freedom of speech, religious freedom, and the issue of radicalism.
What to expect?
Mankind’s collective consciousness has awakened from a long, deep sleep. Something has unplugged us from the centuries-long self-hypnosis we had been cultivating. We find ourselves gasping for breath as we barely surface from the depths of our insanity.
We understand that we are ideological by nature, and function only through the substructures of our belief systems—that which underpins all our actions. In this brief moment of awakening, we have a chance to undo our wrongs.
During this crucial time in history, we have become willing to admit what we have always known: there is no alternative to God. We would do well to find our way now, for it will not be long before we drown again and slip back into a deep slumber.
I will be writing on topics related to theology, history, ethics, culture, and politics. Some entries may relate to my current active research, serve as a precursor to an upcoming video, or reflect whatever may be on my mind as we traverse the volatile and uncertain future ahead.
